This is a concept in quantum physics, stating that other realities already exist beside the one we know. We just have to tap into them to merge and embody these desirable states. You can do this by visualizing that best version of yourself. If you're not able to visualize, no worries, that isn't as important as sensing what you are doing, how people react to you, and how you feel.
The more often you practice this, especially holding onto the feelings of this envisioned reality, the easier it is to make changes in your life. It is seeing what you know you're capable of, and the follow through, which can boost your morale. This can promote the continuous steps completed towards your goal, making it all the more likely.
How you talk to yourself is really the bare bones of this. Programming positivity into your psyche before sleep, right after waking, and/or with deep meditation are the most effective times for integrating a shift because your brain will naturally be in the theta state. This is when it's easiest to convince ourselves and wire this in, just like how something in the beginning of your day can affect the rest of your day.
Parallel reality shifting is something I've been diving into lately, which I credit and relate to the vision of this painting (below).
For me, I've been shifting into my role as a full-time artist. I've become more organized and disciplined by considering the cliché of "making every moment count." Knowing it's possible to align, recalling this phrase, and doing such has been the key to shifting.
